Art is an emotional release for me. It’s a way of observing my surrounding, digesting it and then letting it go. Like tapping into your most honest self. Being creative is a kind of meditation. It brings focus and peace into my life.
On a basic level, I just love colors and textures. I feel art is everywhere, in the clothes we wear, the cars we drive, the houses we live in, to the bowls we eat out of. It’s all formed out of someone’s imagination and I’m thrilled by this side of life. Art is one of my greatest passions… I travelled the world for it, tried new things, explored inner depths and outer frivolities. I love the feeling of being inspired by other artist, like when I saw the sculptures of Louise Bourgeois at the Tate Modern in London or Salvador Dali’s museum in the south of Spain. I truly find it fascinating the way we can conceive of something in our minds and make it with our hands. Magic!
